Growing up in Milton Keynes, I never fancied myself as a writer, rather an internationally renowned chef. But, as we all know, life happens! So, I’m now a rookie blogger. Although not a chef, I remain happy about the idea that my blogging is about my favourite thing in the world – eating – and eating well at that.
So, who is MuchBites?… A long story short, I ended up in Madrid after finishing my degree in International Business in London. Prior to finishing my degree, I had completed a year abroad program at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I loved Madrid so much that I vowed I would come back at first opportunity. However, my love of Madrid was somehow tainted by my lack of understanding of the Madrid food scene. Ask any Spanish person about Spanish food, you’ll be sure to hear that it’s the best in the world. Frankly, my first time here, I just couldn’t see it. All I can say is, I remember losing weight that’s all. Those who know me will remember me asking “What is this cocido? Is it a stew or is it a cocktail of meat? I’m sure some of you might relate to this.
Thankfully, as time progressed, I got to understand, appreciate and love what was on offer. Hopefully, all you newcomers to Madrid will not have to experience the same. Indeed, even Madrid old timers can learn new things about their city.
At this point, enter MuchBites…..
From trendy cafes and restaurants to your typical Spanish establishments, the best is out there and ready to be eaten by the distinguished diner that is you. With MuchBites, I do all the leg work to find a great place to wine, dine, drink, have a cake and much more and bring it to you.
If the place I go to is below par, rest assured you will not find it on MuchBites. Of course, the greatness of a place is subjective, but I surely hope to be able to cater for your culinary needs to a degree.
